Annual Turkey Drive

One of the specific objectives of the Arenia Edwards Community Development Corporation

(“AECDC”) is to address food insecurity in low-income households and for senior citizens. To

date AECDC has sponsored over one hundred families with turkeys and food boxes during the Thanksgiving holiday in the following cities: Augusta, Georgia; Houston,Texas; and Decatur, Alabama.

AECDC has partnered with two schools to provide holiday turkeys for low-income families: Sue Reynolds Elementary School (Augusta, Georgia) and Harmony of Endeavor (Houston, Texas). Additionally, AECDC has provided food assistance to individual families in Georgia, Texas, and Alabama.
